SANZ: Out of the albums you have released in The Lightning seeds catalogue which would be your favourite one
IAN: Jollification
SANZ: and if so why
IAN: Cos I took my time and got it just right
SANZ: What would you prefer to do work and record in a studio or perform live
IAN: Doing both is perfect
SANZ: what would you say is the best thing about performing live
IAN: It's different every time which is great
SANZ: what’s is the best place you've travelled to and played a gig
IAN: The USA
SANZ: Out of your music videos you have done which would be your favourite
IAN: You showed me
SANZ: Do you have a least favourite and why
IAN: I think Videos are generally not much good and more about the director than the band
SANZ: What are your thoughts on you tube seeing as there are a lot of music videos of yours on there
IAN: It's good seeing it all and I'm glad it's there even though sometimes live shows recorded on a phone isn't the best way to experience something .
SANZ: If you had a chance to go back in time and repeat your musical career over again would you take that chance and would you do anything differently if you did
IAN: I'm happy with my past career.... and I'd do it all different!!
SANZ: What would be your most memorable moment be in your music career
IAN: Learning the guitar
SANZ: is there a least memorable moment you'd like to forget about and can you tell us about it
IAN: Nothing springs to mind
SANZ: What are your thoughts on american idol
IAN: I've never seen it
SANZ: Do you ever check ebay or to see if anyone is selling any rare items of your work
IAN: No
SANZ: when you are in a music store do you get the urge to check if they have any of the albums you have worked on
IAN:I did when I began my career
SANZ: If you could do a duet with another singer songwriter of your choice who would it be
IAN: Dion
SANZ: If one of your songs come on the radio do you sing along or switch stations
IAN: Sing along
SANZ: How did you come to name the project/band The Lightning Seeds
IAN: I heard the phrase in a song and I thought it sounded good
SANZ: How did you come about to work with Terry Hall and end up doing the catchy song sense
IAN: We met playing football became friends and wrote a lot together
SANZ: If it is possible could you tell us the stories/inspirations behind these songs/how they came about

SANZ: Now with Three Lions that was the anthem of the 1996 England Football team how did this song come together and what went through your mind when this came about for football being asked to write an anthem
IAN: I thought it would be difficult but I had a strong idea of how it should sound
SANZ: In 2002 what made you decide to put the seeds on hiatus
IAN: I felt like we had run our course and I needed a break
SANZ: How did the seeds reunion come about
IAN: There is no reunion as the L Seeds is (and always was )a way for me to express myself in a flexible way with whoever i want to collaborate...(live or recording)SANZ: What are your plans for the remainder of 2011
IAN: To enjoy myself while i record some new songs, play some gigs and see where it leads .
