The Feelers
Right Here Right Now EP
It seems these guys have given us this release to give us a little teaser of what they have instore for us in the near future. At the start of the year we got a great summer anthem from these guys called Blue Skies, on this release we get the Rarotongan mix along with a rip roaring rock version. The main track of this ep is a track that was well talked about when first heard at the end of March to promote world cup tickets which is a cover version of Jesus Jones Right Here Right Now and a kick ass version it is. Also included on this ep is the guys performing Right Here Right Now on Campbell live along with live versions of As Good As It Gets and Larger Than Life. Overall this is a great ep to fill the void before the new Feelers album is released this is one band I truly admire and look up to.
The Feelers
Hope Nature Forgives
It has been 13 years since these guys released their rip roaring debut album supersystem and they are still going strong which is no surprise really these guys are truly one of the many great rock bands NZ has with catchy lyrics and amazing music.
Here we have their fifth studio album entitled Hope Nature Forgives, the first single to come from this album is called Can’t Fix Me along with the recently released second single Didn’t Want To Fall In Love this album also has two previously released songs Blue Skies and their cover of a Jesus Jones track Right Here Right Now.
My song picks for this album Dasvidaniya, Open Up The Ground, the title track Hope Nature Forgives, and my personal favourite Narrow Lanes, (which in my opinion should be the next single from this album). Overall this album is truly larger than life.
